Why Can't I Log Into My Email?

If you're unable to log into your email account with your email address and password, please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your email address is in the correct format (example: jadoe@my.waketech.edu).
    NOTE: Make sure you have the dot between my and waketech (my.waketech.edu).

  2. Use the same password that you use for WebAdvisor, Blackboard, and my.waketech.edu.
  3. If you're still unable to log into your email account after following steps 1 and 2, reset your password at changepass.waketech.edu. Passwords do not expire, however it is recommended to reset to a different password.
    NOTE: Please note that resetting your password will reset your password for all systems (WebAdvisor, Blackboard, etc).
